A mobility evaluation by a specially trained therapist is a key part to getting the right manual or powered mobility device to meet your needs in the home and in the community. A Precision Mobility Evals OT will complete an evaluation of your mobility needs and work with your primary care physician and a local wheelchair vendor to determine the appropriate mobility device base and custom components required to help you perform your activities of daily living. The assistive technology professional from the wheelchair vendor will be in person, with the OT over telemedicine.
*Insurance coverage varies and may limit mobility device options and/or evaluation locationWant to urge congress to continue to allow telemedicine for OT/PT? It is set to expire at the end of 2024.
